Dear Valued Clients,

As the owners of Ponderosa Community Management, we wanted to take a moment to update you on our company’s current status considering Governor Inslee’s COVID-19 mandates concerning essential businesses.

We embraced and implemented a robust technology strategy when we started Ponderosa in 2018. Because we provide management services to Associations across the entire state, the ability to work remotely, anywhere, was paramount to our success. It is for that reason that we have been able to continue providing our Boards and homeowners with the same high level of service that we pride ourselves on.

For the safety of our employees, we have provided our managers with the resources they need to also be successful working from their own homes. This means you will continue to be able to reach any member of our team just as you always have.

However, because we want to continue to have the capacity to take care of your community, our team will not physically be attending Board or community meetings and strongly encourage all of our Board members to respect the small gathering restrictions and safely shelter at home. We are providing free access to the “Zoom,” remote meeting platform to all our clients who may need or wish to meet. In addition, we are providing those clients who need to make decisions during the unprecedented times, formal resolution and consent in lieu of meeting documents and assisting with the ratification process for making decisions outside of formal meetings.

Next, we will not physically be entering the buildings or residences of our Associations while the state mandates remain in place. We will, however, be performing drive through site inspections of the communities and working with our Board on appropriate responses for covenant violations due to the new home bound lifestyles we’ve had to adopt.

Finally, we are following those decisions lawmakers are considering that may directly impact how your Association does business and will provide you with timely updates as appropriate.

In closing, Rob and I started this business because we are passionate about assisting our volunteer Board Members with their responsibility to preserve the livability and value of the homes in their neighborhood. But more than that, we care about all of you and are here to assist during these difficult times. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
